I am a New York City and Reno-Tahoe based portrait and commercial photographer.

I am drawn to photography through its powerful storytelling capacity. Coming from a music background as a classical concert pianist, I am sensitive to the spectrum of emotional depth that can be found within the performance of a piece of music, a way of painting with sound on the blank canvas of silence. Similarly, I see a photograph as that canvas for capturing the broad palette and nuanced brush strokes of my subject’s story and emotions. It is an opportunity to capture moments that signify human experiences much larger than the moment itself. Every client of mine has a story to tell, and I pride myself on unearthing that story and capturing it in the process, from initial conception to the final realization.
